Next Wave technology is the next generation of Cetol Marine from Sikkens with a unique UV-absorbing package, which is specialty resins and advanced UV absorbers that provide greater protection, durability and longevity. Cetol Marine provides a flexible breathable finish along with weather protection for teak and other hard woods all with ease of application and maintenance. It is formulated with Next Wave technology, special alkyd resin and high quality synthetic UV-absorbing pigments which shields wood against damaging UV rays. Cetol Marine Light is identical to the Cetol Marine but formulated with different pigments to produce a lighter amber appearance on wood

BARE FIBERGLASSIn Good Condition Begin by scrubbing well using soap and water and a stiff brush. Rinse with fresh water and allowto dry. Wipe a small area with a clean rag that has been wetted with Fiberglass Solvent Wash 202. While the surface isstill wet wipe with a clean dry rag. Continue this process until the entire surface has been cleaned. Sand using 180-220 grade (grit) paper. Remove sanding residue.

MOLDED IN NON-SKID SURFACES Scrub with Fiberglass Surface Prep YMA601 or Solvent Wash 202V using a 3MDoodlebug™ and a maroon Scotch-Brite ® pad. Rinse with fresh water.

PREVIOUSLY PAINTED SURFACESIn Good Condition The surface must be clean and dry. Sand with 220-320 grade (grit) paper. Remove sandingresidue.In Poor Condition Remove all previous coatings and prime the substrate.

BARE WOOD Sand surface wipe clean. Apply Prekote Primer. Sand surface wipe clean.METAL Use Interprotect 2000E to prime the surface of the prepared metal. See the Interprotect 2000E TechnicalDatasheet for bare metal preparation guidelines.

CLEAR EPOXY Clean as for Bare Fiberglass above. Sand with 80 grade (grit) paper. Remove sanding residue. Applyone coat of Epoxy Barrier-Kote 404/414.Method Sand the primer with 180-220 grade wet or dry paper. Remove dust with a dust wipe.

Apply 1-2 coats.

Hints Mixing Stir well before use.

Thinner Brushing Liquid 333

Cleaner Special Thinner 216.Ventilation and Humidity Control Apply in dry well ventilated conditions.

For best results either stipple by brush or use a mohair roller.

Some Important Points Product temperature should be minimum 10°C/50°F and maximum 35°C/95°F. Ambient temperature should be minimum 5°C/41°F and maximum 35°C/95°F. Substrate temperature should be minimum 5°C/41°F and maximum 35°C/95°F.Compatibility/Substrates Suitable for all substrates and filled surfaces. Not suitable for permanently immersed surfaces.
